Welcome to Belmont Mansion’s education page! We’ve designed this because, like you, we’re passionate about keeping history alive.
Here you can find resources geared toward students, teachers and homeschooling parents. These include activities worksheets, lesson plans, fact sheets, primary documents and pictures. Print these out to use at home or in the classroom, or bring them with you to Belmont Mansion as part of a fun and educational field trip!
In addition to all you’ll find online, we also offer guided tours of Belmont Mansion, geared specifically toward our young learners and designed to complement our online resources.
We’d like to help you learn more about Adelicia Acklen, her family and what life was like at Belmont Mansion during the second half of the 19th century. We’ll introduce you to some of our collections items and teach you about the things that interested Adelicia, including decorative arts, art, literature and science.
